Why the resource team is wrongly mapping to higher level management role project proposals. Like 4 yr experienced people are being proposed for 10 year experience requirement.

I moved to USA in 2017 on F1 visa. I was not selected for H1-B in the 3 years of my OPT. While my company is transferring me to Canada and can potentially get me back on L1 visa, the shifting situation is stressing me out. The thought of moving to another country in a couple of months is causing a lot of anxiety and tough luck with the lottery is making me feel depressed.

People who aren’t diagnosed generally have misconceptions about ADHD and its symptoms, and I’m so grateful we have this bowl to seek help, learn from one another, and sometimes just vent! I decided to jump back in after a few months hiatus because of the free expansion week. My main character has gear 1350-1400 but my light level is listing at 1216 and every activity I do the enemies are “!!” level so I get destroyed. Meanwhile my old character I haven’t played in years has the minimum 1350 light level like it’s supposed to. Has this happened to anyone else?

Am I tripping? Everyone loves calling my daughter (2 months) "lil chocolate drop" or "look at all that chocolate". I love my daughter's complexion, not only because it's mine, but because it's beautiful. However, I can't help but feeling like ppl "other" or make it weird by avoiding saying dark. Unfortunately was dragged into an audit despite the fact I don’t work in audit. Why does audit RM say yeah your hours will be 50 hours/week when you’ll have to work way more to do the audit. Seems very dumb - if you have work do it, if not don’t work…

At what point are you too specialized to lateral to internal audit? I did and it's killing me because now I'm working till 2 am, but its not showing on paper. I o ly show 8 or 9 hours. But, I would rather not get yelled at from the client or director for going over budget. The budget is super tight, like 1.5 hours per workpaper and my associate already uses all of it. So nothing is left for review. Why do partners do this to us?

I work at a mid tier firm in an audit group of ~20 people. We’ve recently had two seniors and a manager leave, and I just found out another senior with a ton of big jobs is leaving in three weeks. I also just found out I’m being promoted to senior with a raise of 10%. In light of all these departures though, I kind of want to ask for more.... should I? And what % raise is appropriate?
