Just wondering if anyone else has gone through the process and is currently working at Monitor. I wanted to understand about the projects, hierarchy and overall culture at Monitor. My base location is Gurgaon. Deloitte India Deloitte Monitor Deloitte Deloitte USI

Knowledge is more important than title. The long game does pay off if you stay an aggressive learner.
A lot of people chase titles and money. Then they get canned because they’re overpaid compared to their knowledge. Don’t chase the title. Chase the opportunity
Media Strategist, you seem to be the outlier here. And you’re rude.
You left for a reason.
Looking to the past and what "could have been" is such a waste of time. Look forward and be positive.
I took a lateral move for a $40k pay bump. I’m not really convinced that was a stupid move, @media strat
How do you know you would have been promoted in 6 months at old place? That's not real. You can focus on getting there at your new place. I've also moved laterally for more money and different/better experience, it's absolutely not an automatic mistake. I've also gone back a title for more money because I was interested in the work. And no, I was never underpaid as a starting point.
Thanks 🐠 ❤️
As someone in a VERY similar boat, CD’s comment strikes me. I could be a director in a year, but chose to stay an AS 2 more (so 4 in total) due to the experience of a new agency/brand.
Even if you’re a sup, might be best to jump around just to get more diversity in your portfolio (QSR can only do so much)
I’m in the same boat 🙋🏼
Why do you want to be promoted?
Hope you didn't make a lateral move cause thats stupid
Sorry for being honest and blunt. Long term it makes no difference probably and it's over now so I wouldn't dwell on it. I'd recommend not making lateral moves ever again though. Best of luck to you
If it was me I'd get a title increase as well, but do you. Seems like this convo made you very strongly confident that you made the right move so I believe I helped here. Sometimes you need to defend your decision to understand how you feel about it. Must have been drastically underpaid for a sup. 40k pay bump is nice congrats and best of luck in future that is all
I was it was me (OP) that got a $40k increase 😂
There's 2 of you wow wait what
