I recently interviewed for L7 EM at Google and had 4 great interviews and one not so great system design. I submitted external referrals all of which gave great feedback. The recruiter said the next step is team match/interviews and then the HC. Anyone in a similar situation? What was the result? Google

Any one familiar with comp for a Portfolio Associate roll at PIMCO on their mortgage backed securities team? I’m looking at an offer and want make sure I’m in line with the average comp for the company and industry. Only 4 months of experience and offer is 98k w/ 10-20% bonus plus 15k relo/ sign on. Looking at Glassdoor, bonuses seem higher than quoted by the hiring manager. (No written offer yet they say they’re still working on it)

You don’t need to accept. You ask for it in writing to review it.
They do; just went through this
Make sure you get everything from current in writing if you accept. I failed to do that and I accepted a counter from Bank if America to say, vs taking an offer at Wells. They adjusted my salary, but didnt keep the bonus where they said it would be; fell short by 35k 🤬.
But - think about why you are looking to leave. I ended up leaving BofA 2 years later. Never was really happy.
Does Wells already know you have the offer coming? Be careful with this…some areas cut you once they know you have an offer.
Good luck with whatever you decide to do!
You don't to accept. Just submit an email or written offer to your current company for verification. Accepting the offer then going back on it would affect your reputation with the company.
You need proof of the offer to negotiate.
You don't really need to accept unless you really want to switch companies. I think you can just show them the offer letter you received from the other company. Good luck!
It’s business. So, you should get an offer in writing and absolutely have 24-48 hours to review the language in the document before signing, with that in hand see what you can do. If you aren’t happy with either? Find a third player:) Good luck!
How do you like your Business Execution Consultant role? I have been offered a position and am curious how folks in the role feel. Do you do the same work as the PO?
