If I leave b4 for a mid market firm as a senior will it be tough to get back into b4 in a couple years as a manager?

No it would not. My last manager did that. But you will need to make it to manager first at mid market. Dm me if you need a referral to bdo.

funnylike

Probably be more tough to be manager in that situation as opposed to just staying...

like

Im currently a senior but have an offer for manager at mid market. So I’d take the comp increase and manager title and go there for a couple years then come back to big4 as a manager

like

Might as well just stay at EY. This path doesn’t make sense long term just to come back

like

Why would you want to do that?

Mid market is not good, don't do it

No. Had a guy do this to us like a month ago lol

Just stick it out. I would not leave as you are making it harder on yourself.

Team just applied for a TS Clearance (defense agency). Trying to assess if it makes sense to wait till the clearance comes through (6 months to a year?) before I job hop. I'm hoping to get some clarity on the following:
1. Can my company withdraw or cancel my clearance if I leave right after I secure a TS?
2. In terms of compensation, how much value (% compensation) does a TS clearance have in the DC area? Places I'm considering: AWS, Azure, GCP, Data bricks, Appian etc.
Any advice, thanks!

Is Operations paid the least at your respective firms? I was hired to a Client Service Delivery role with a heavy focus on project management. I want to move to a BA role. I have good communication skills and an analytical mind. Below are 3 of my biggest questions.

1. Is it too late to switch to a BA role?
2. What are the skills, tools or certifications required?
3. How should I approach a job opening, given that I have no work experience as a BA.

Pls do pitch in your thoughts

I got an offer from Gartner for software engineer (advanced) role and they are offering me really good salary package.
1. How is the quality of work in terms of full stack web development with respect to latest tech and career growth.
2. How is the work life balance for software engineers ?
3. What is the difference between their software engineer and software engineer (advanced) role?

By contract is 1.

What are your thoughts on the Scrum Master role? I’ve worked with a few now and out of 5 of them, only 1 seemed to be of any help. I feel that the role should be reserved for employees with experience in the systems they work in.
