After ED round of interview I got a mail from HR asking to submit few documents. In the mail HR has mentioned that I'm one of the shortlisted candidate and final selection is yet to be made. So how are my chances of getting an offer.

No, CSR actually has a greater point (value) return per dollar spent, even at SPG.
Only get SPG for the 35k bonus
Chase UR point valuation is 2.1c / pt for a total of 6.3c / $1 spend. StarPoint is 2.7c / pt for a total of 5.7c / $1 spend.
Duh 🙄
Seconded what A2 said. I now use only CSR for all travel expenses
Just curious - CSR gives you 3x UR, and Spg Amex is 2x spg points, however spg is worth more than 1.5c/point - why is CSR give you more value then?
5.4c/$1...my bad.
^ that assumes you value an SPG point at more than 2.2 cents? And you have to pay an extra $95 per year. I say go just CSR
Yes but it's going away once marriwood merges
The SPG 35k promotion ends tomorrow I think
If you're planning on transferring it to airlines specifically when the SPG card is better since you get 5k extra for every 20k transferred to airlines (AA)
I have my doubts about the 2.1 cent UR valuation, I don't think it's real. I believe 1.5 is a lot more accurate because I don't know anyone that was able to redeem UR points other than from booking travel direct from the portal with a 1.5 cent valuation. So, in that case - the SPG card has better value for SPG hotels.
^ I find the 2.4 cent valuation for SPG to be quite accurate. CSR is 450, or effectively 150 with travel credit. Still much higher than SPG. I call the fees pay to play, and pretty much a wash since you get the night/stay credit towards status and boingo internet free around the world with the SPG business card. I still suggest paying SPG hotels with the spg card, and all others with CSR
