Hey! Any Google folks know if it’s possible to negotiate fully remote if a contract role is hybrid? Personally, I don’t want to relocate and go to the office on a contract role given the current economy. Plus, I’m assuming contractors are the first to go in layoffs. I just think it’s a fair trade off if I’d be allowed to work fully remote. I’m also trying to have flexibility to manage my Airbnb business in a different country. Same time zone as the home office if I’d travel weeks at a time.

Hello All,
I have recently joined FIS Global around end of April. My mother recently met with an accident and she needs to be operated.
I haven't been able to update the anything regarding the insurance part yet on FIS portal.
Will my mother's treatment be covered under the insurance? If yes, what's the procedure for the same? What are the documents that I need to submit in order to claim the amount?
Can anyone please guide?
Based on true incidents

Why ask?
How could the answer to this be no?
That last part gets to the root of it - people being weird and possessive. My logic has always been: if it’s not going to severely burn an important bridge and you’re not going to get sued, go for it. Especially if your disclosing your contribution
No. Go back to your shanty.
Yes
Of course! You worked on them
Congrats on having something made without having to stick around. This is surprisingly rare. Are you in contact with the team who produced it? Get in touch and tell them you’re happy with how they turned out and ask for a copy of the final files.
Yeah ask them for the spots especially if they shot what you wrote
