If I'm looking to have the CFP completed 12-18 mths from start date, what would be a solid prep course/program you guys would recommend? Any pref to online classes vs. in-person classes?

I used the American College program and did just fine. I also used the Zahn review and that was very helpful!

I used American College and passed last month. Took me about 18 months start to finish

like

I agree with Brett danko. 30 of us at Merrill did it in 6 months. 29 passed the first time. They hired him to come to our office. At the very least do the review course

like

I'm doing Bryant University 'S online. Not too expensive but I also paid $600 for the books.

FSU has a fast track program intended to be completed in 12 months and you pay for each class as you go

There is a program that will have you finishing it in 6-7mo. I’ll respond back if I can find the name.

I would recommend American College Sed study to compete the modules as fast as you can, then a crash weekend course(I prefer Zahn) about 1 month out from actual exam date

Self study’, not “Sed"

Hi All, I need some career guidance.

7+ YOE - 3 in tech support role (after BE) and 4+ in BA & PM role (after MBA). Worked on RPA and process improvement projects for 2 yrs. Currently working on internal tool implementation projects - PMO, UAT, change strategy, etc.

I want to switch to a product company in a PM/TPM role, and I am planning to learn something new which has a great future scope, pays well, and aligns with my profile. Any recommendation would really help me take a right call.

Received offer from BCG for ECT AD role. Read numerous comments about ECT being not attractive compared to Generalists track. Also heard challenges about billability/utilization. Any views/guidance is appreciated.

Background - I am not super keen to become an equity partner and comfortable to stay on ECT track. Main reason to join will be opportunity to work with different clients, smart talented people and good brand. I may consider going back to industry after 3-5 years in ECT.
