All I can say is WOW. Pretty serious offense, regardless of magnitude. Not sure OP seems remorseful enough or has grasped the magnitude if s/he is asking about "if the firm will forget in a bit". Nuts.
HR makes a check for any prior violations. I've ensured that they are especially diligent as it appears there's someone trying to bluff their way into a rehire. I've reached out to a couple of colleagues in non-Partnership firms and alerted them to this. They're following up with their HR.
Someone got fired and now they're trying to falsify their way back in. Speaks to integrity, fidelity and voracity. I don't want someone with a compromised ethical compass in a firm that I'm an owner of. It's that simple.
DD1: it is specific to your company as to what they will disclose. The last two companies I worked for released the items I listed. Perhaps it isn't fair for me to paint in such broad strokes.
@D2 heh it's rather identifying if I say (a LinkedIn search on past company X and current company DD has me as the lone search result) but suffice it to say it was one of our more obscure technology vendors, not a true consulting competitor.

What?????????
EY10 they do this and I can verify!

@D6 Starbucks reloads aren't allowed? I started doing that after an M always did it and thought it was okay. Usually only do $10 or $15 based on if I'm getting a sandwich or water and always use the remainder on travel drinks/meals. 😫
D14: like I said above, there was one of those policy alert reminders on DNet a few weeks ago that specifically pointed out that this isn't permitted.
@D14 - are Starbucks reloads not just on a project by pr
