Finally found THE one, after over a year of searching and trying out at least 5 different ones!
A nice comfortable office chair.

My criteria: mesh seat and back, arms, headrest
I tried cheap ones from Amazon. Expensive, second hand gaming chairs. Tried HM Aeron (second hand) and while I didn't like the bulk and the general design, I was sold on the mesh seating. I wanted to get the ErgoChair 2 from autonomous, but it doesn't have mesh seat.
AMA.

A cat
Not fancy cats are expensive, too. Mine cost me 1200 in cat dental bills year one.
I have 3 monitors (2 horizontal, 1 vertical) and it’s a game changer. Plus wireless, rechargeable keyboard & ergonomic mouse, Bluetooth speaker, and good webcam.

Second monitor, docking station, extra chargers to stash everywhere you might work in your house, monitor risers, wireless keyboard and mouse, nice webcam.
Standing desk went a long way for me. Also plus one on second monitor.
Mentor
Gotta bump those monitors up. Two is a bare minimum imo.

I had a $750 budget, and bought a 38” curved monitor (it costs more than $750, but I am just subsidizing the cost)

Your firm may have already provided this, but a USB C hub is fantastic. I can just plug in one thing, and it connects my laptop to both of my monitors, ethernet cord, USB mouse and keyboard, powers my ringlight (use it for better lighting for zoom calls) and laptop charger. I also bought a desk lamp that has a wireless charging base for my phone or my ear buds.
