Remote work, pensions aren’t what they used to be depending on your situation.
I will pick permanent wfh, in a blink of an eye.
Mentor
Let me be very clear….I am a huuuuuuuuge supporter of remote/WFH. In this scenario, I would probably pick pension.
I think permanent remote is kinda boring…I like my hybrid 2 times every other week just to get out of the house and see people. If I ONLY worked at home I would lose my mind…so pension and commute it is
1 hour one way or total? Remote is great, but I think I might rather retire with a juicy pension. It really comes down to the specifics here.
WFH. I've seen waaaay too many pensions fail over the years to ever put my trust in one.
Pension. No contest. There comes a time when you simply cannot work anymore. Having that financial safety net is incredibly powerful.
Remote.
Pension prolly terminate by year or two as most of them already did
Would pick up commute, get that eligibility for pension and if the job sucks would switch over to remote..Pensions are hard to come by
