Wow. McKinsey, which has the biggest public sector presence of the MBB, really hasn't been doing too hot at all in the sector.
Its presence is tiny and it's gotten even smaller. Meanwhile it's bungling whatever opportunities it's getting.

New York; between the two, it’s more affordable.
NYC for sure. Obviously people will have strong opinions either way, but having lived in both places I just find NYC to be the more interesting city in pretty much every way

Both are in-house at tech companies
If it's just money and making your dollar stretch, NYC is the way to go. But I like grass and sun so I'd be more interested in SF.
Weed is legal in CA so SF.
Tough call. I have family in both. It's a lifestyle choice. I'd pick sf because I've been on the east coast my whole life.
This really just depends on what you want. Money goes further in NYC, but it’s the hustle and grind. SF you at least get some chill. I’ve only ever lived and worked in NYC and you honestly couldn’t pay me to do SF.
