Hello! I recently applied for a Travel Procurement Senior Manager role at PwC (role is in NYC and I’m not NYC-based but I believe certain roles can be primarily remote). I have 5+ years of experience in this field and the description/company culture seem like a perfect match to what I’m looking for. Are there any fish from PwC and/or their talent acquisition team that can provide a reference post-submission and insight on the hiring process? Thanks!!

I also loved Harvard, and wanted to work somewhere equally as challenging to get in to.
I’ve never met anyone nice, self-aware, pleasant, or humble from Deloitte. I generally steer away from generalizations, but after multiple negative experiences, I think they fully deserve their negative stereotype.
I’ve met nice cops, nice priests, and even someone who had a criminal record who was nice. But nope, never met a decent or well adjusted Deloitter or whatever they’re called.
I could literally write a bulleted list of anecdotes but then it’ll exceed the word count for a reply.
If you’re popular you do well.
If not you go somewhere else.
popularity translates to influences and in consulting that’s everything
Still less politics than most corporate gigs. I've been far worse places.
It is not a competition
Friend, this is the case everywhere unfortunately. Blame humanity.
My group at Deloitte was very inclusive tbh (and I didn’t even put much effort integrating myself)
It’s still that bad? It was like high school when I was there over a decade ago, thought they’d have read the room in this year of our lord 2026.
