Which one to choose between Optum and Tiger Analytics for Data Scientist position? Where can I expect better data science domain expertise (In my previous companies I found very less understanding of Data Science practices as team)? Heared good things about both of these. Also hearing Tiger is expanding rapidly and getting some crap projects as well in the name of data science. Could someone put light on these things?

Tiger: 18L Fixed + 1L JB
Optum: 21L Fixed + 1.5L JB

I believe that DEI and ESG has a "corporate optics" component that we can't deny.
They will require leadership that shows desire to advance underrepresented groups. That doesnt mean you can't be deputy "chief" or other top ranking title if you are a white male.
To deny this happens is as absurd as OP complaining about it.

Yeah, I heard something similar from someone in the 400k HHI level about food stamps not bringing equity since they didn't qualify for the program. They think that it instead segregated further by helping only some of the population.

I don’t believe this is true. A good number of executive sponsors (national leadership) are “white” people. Perhaps the DE&I team should host a call to (re)orient ALL personnel of the structure, that anyone can join freely and definitely can have a national DE&I position. OP maybe you should try applying so you appreciate the process.
