I just cleared my AWS Cloud Practitioner exam and am curious whether I should pursue Solutions Architect Associate and/or Developer Associate certificate next. My plan is to get about 7 certificates in the areas that interest me, even though they are not needed for my role. Have you gotten both? Any recommendation to which to pursue first?

I have been a practicing (patent prosecution) lawyer in different firms for about 20 years. I would love to do something more creative but still techie (computers, telecom, apps, etc.). I've always been interested in improving the software that practicing lawyers use (whether patent-specific or not). I am also kind of an academic at heart, but I live in a locale where professorial jobs are pretty limited and we're rooted here now. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hello everyone. I will be transitioning from the Navy soon and want to work in the cybersecurity field. I have an active secret clearance, BS in strategic intelligence, working on a masters in cybersecurity, and taking Security+ in December. No work experience in cyber, just my education and bootcamp course for Security+. Should I still apply for job that want 2-5+ years cyber experience and/or an active TS clearance?

I joined Mindtree on 8th Feb and not got project and I was waiting for last 2 and half month. So, i gave interview outside (tech mahindra) and got selected. Almost 30-35% they said they will give and i am negotiating on it.

My main concern was shift and i have some health issues and unable to continue in night shift in Mindtree and tech mahindra its purely EMEA shift and per project team update.

Shall i switch to tech Mahindra?

How do I get a job as a Mechanical Engineer if I dont have experience?

I couldn’t get an internship while in school. I have a BS in ME and projects from school under my belt. I’ve also passed the FE exam. I’ve been mostly just doing CAD for a company for the last year by creating minimally dimensioned drawings and moving parts around in assemblies. I want to evolve in my career and be doing more. Is it misleading to just look at Total Compensation from a $ dollar value/ Total Compensation seems to be much more subjective than base salary in terms of its value. Some factors might be:

RSUs granted on dollar value or by # of shares & stock price trends
Vesting schedule
strike price on ISOs & delta between strike price and real market value

For instance, most of value in Amazon's comp seems to be granted in years 3 & 4, but it's well known that most people last only 2 years max there.
