I‘m a lawyer in Malaysia in my 7th year of practice doing litigation. Quit my previous practice because doesn’t get paid in 5 months. I take the bold move of quitting cold turkey without any backup plan, confident that with my years of experience, I’d easily secure another job. I’m now in my 7 months being unemployed, couldn’t secure an employment anywhere else. Tried to go in house, but got remarks about my litigation background. Ready to start fresh, but companies doesn’t view the same maybe.

I’m looking at lessons with a pro. They offer packs of 30 min (6-pack) and 60 min (3-pack) sessions. Is there a benefit to one over the other? Is 30 too short or 60 too long?

I’ve never taken lessons before, just played my whole life. I’m a mid 80s golfer trying to get more consistent and break into the high 70s.

What do you do when you feel the goalpost has been/is being moved re: billable requirements? Like there's a spoken vs unspoken? I chose this job based on billables vs salary and what I'm being told I'm expected to do now is 20-30% (at least) > than what was initially agreed upon. Given my other life responsibilities, this is creating a huge strain & I feel like this is slowly getting harder & harder on my spouse & kids. I'm grateful to have lots of good work but not sure how to course correct.
