Anyone recently received a tax manager offer from EY ? I’m going through final interviews and want to see what your experience was like (negotiation process, initial offer higher/lower than expected?, did you give them a salary expectation range? How long did it take from final interview to offer etc) TIA!PwC EY KPMG Deloitte

That’s a solid salary
130 seems to be the higher end. I’m asking for a raise.
Wait so you’re not a y4 or y5 promote, that could explain your big amount, if u have 8 yrs of experience but just made M1 that makes a lot more sense
I have no reference point to how much it truly costs to life in NYC, but I’m in the Midwest as a M1 and you make a LOT more than I do
NYC ppl also end up working like 25% more hours
That’s pretty good. My old firm has sm at that salary. Ugh
Though old firm someone made m in ny at 110 I believe so 130 is good for you!
Which group?
$130 bucks doesn’t seem like a lot for where you are at in your career. I’d ask for more.
😂
That’s about right.
Coach
I’d say this is about right. You’re a 1st year manager right?
Yes
You are promoted last year during COVID and had base of 130?
This year promotion
Are you in RE or IM?
Im
Few years ago I asked my COO what the top range for tax managers was and it was $125k + bonus. I’d say $130k is a solid salary
