Create a homelab and do it in your free time. I am also thinking of doing a masters to pivot as well and focus in the area I am interested in.
Similar to what the first person said
I setup a homelab from the cables down through the osi model.
There are thinks like hack the box which are great for app sec.
I also do occasional physical red teaming.
Listening to podcasts helps too.
Just remember its a marathon and skills build over time with experiance. The best red team can communicate well and understand the threats for that sector and test against them rather than just say everything is broken

Online Platforms - Platforms like Hack The Box, TryHackMe, and even CTF competitions are excellent for building practical skills. They have scenarios for everything from basic to advanced hacking techniques.
Certifications-Since you’re already working on SIEM/SOAR, certifications like CEH or Offensive Security ones (e.g., OSCP) can help bridge the gap into red teaming.
Communities-Join cybersecurity groups or red team-specific communities (online or local). Sharing tips and experiences can accelerate your learning.
Even if you start with just a few hours a week on the weekends, it adds up quickly
