I’m an Account Executive at a start up insurance brokerage but I don’t have a quota, and I don’t actually have my “own list of clients”. The owner has over 180 clients that we all manage together.

I’m essentially just handling the renewals for him.

I make $67k and I want to make more, but how can I work towards a higher salary if my job title doesn’t even align with what I do and it’s hard to negotiate my value when I don’t have specific clients I manage since we all manage the clients.

Currently working on a three person team in a larger GC group. I lateraled from a different group that did not pay attorneys on an attorney scale.
