I've explored all aspects of accounting - taxes, bookkeeping, private, public, and non-profit, but my extroverted nature feels underutilized here. I tried transitioning into sales, where I thrived in retail during college, but my accounting background hinders my progress. With over 3 years in accounting, I'm eager to shift careers. Any guidance on finding the right direction would be appreciated.

Anyone have experience in raising capital out of the Middle East (Jordan, Kuwait, SA)? Any experience in delivering solutions in that area? I am trying to figure out if a pursuit in that area is to much of a risk. Any insight is appreciated.

They said due to month-end and quarter-end close they were busy and couldn’t get back to me as quickly for a “good update”.

If you make it to senior manager at big four can you leave and become partner or director at mid size firm? Is this hard to do? I know there is a lot of politics at big four and have no interest staying in a senior manager role for 6-8 years and risk a chance of still not becoming partner. Also I got a long way to go before senior manager fyi.

Should you discuss salary range with an internal company recruiter prior to setting up an interview? With external recruiters it’s pretty easy to talk about the expected range.
