I'm an HR specialist in the U.S. Army with an MBA in strategic management (3.80 GPA) and pursuing a DBA in International Business. I hold certifications in Project Management and Scrum Master. I'll be leaving the military in 9 months, interested in transitioning to business consulting in NYC. However, I lack experience in this field. Any advice to increase my chance to break into the consulting industry?

How is the career in Pursuits in any Big 4? Does it pay as good as core consulting work? How is the work life balance? I want to make a shift from client chargeable work to BD work for better work life balance. Is it worth switching?

Fully regret completing my MBA at a non target even tho I got into some M7s, mainly for ego reasons. Did the MBA to break into consulting, and I did but wondering if I would’ve been able to get in with MBB through traditional channels had I done M7. Serving Notice period with 24 days left and Currently learning AWS cloud practioner from udemy(Stephane) and planning to do certification on that within next two weeks. Will it be possible for me to clear interviews saying 2YOE in Aws with a new profile in last two weeks of NP to enter into Aws cloud domain?

Can I just vent on how annoyed I am with the increase in “priority boarding” of people that are able bodied? I am happy to let them on first. But I think they should get off last.
