I would go with Booz just based on what I have heard about the culture and work life balance. Its hard though because I would prefer to work at home if that were an option but for me the culture and the team is more important because toxic culture can damange your mental health. I would personally go for Booz I think.
Is there a bonus structure?
You need to know the bonus structure to make the decision. It is usually in your offer letter
What is the 401k match in your second year?
AFS also has a 6% match after the first year, and fully vests after the second year.
Booze all the way. I’ve heard great things about their WLB and all I’ve heard about Accenture projects have been nightmares
Yeah that makes sense always a tough choice. Although difference of 5 days of PTO wouldn’t impact my choice. I’ve taken over projects from Accenture and they’ve done absolutely horrid jobs. Churn and burn types. But that’s just my exposure
Booz is more of a body shop from what I understand. You’ll likely see more diversity of projects than Accenture since the latter is more known for IT
For me personally, I care a LOT about flexibility so having the hybrid option would be extremely important to me (especially since the pay is comparable). I think if you could negotiate a hybrid work schedule at Booz though, that would be the best option.
Thanks! Yea I think based on the two companies alone Booz seems like the better company so leaning towards it now
^ homeboy hasn’t seen the news. 61 lost contracts since the new administration took over - some $200m and counting. Booz is persona non grata these days.
