I'm considering switching from Public Accounting (tax) to industry as a Financial Analyst - is this feasible? A lot of job postings for Financial Analyst positions ask for knowledge of ERP system, SQL and even coding which I know nothing about. Is it that something that can be learn on the job or should I invest in taking some courses before applying for jobs? How different are these two career paths?

Frankly the state bar isn't a good resource and it's starting to impact my career in not practicing the law. I've been working for a non attorney job in my company for years and was recently told my suspension means I'd never get it.
