I'm embarrassed that our industry prides itself on being creative, open-minded and forward-thinking but puts more weight on a four-year degree over years (10+) of direct industry experience. Especially at Sr. levels. I understand ATS systems have streamlined HR vetting processes but feel they don't actually see people, or their true value. All the chatter about GPT taking jobs when we should be shining a light on HR and their reliance on ATS systems. Please name companies that still see people.

Is 7 weeks too early to start thinking I may have made a huge mistake in switching to my current gig?
