I'm feeling very burnt out as a pharmacist working as exempt caregiver, so no paid overtime. They're expecting sometimes a lot. I know other departments have hourly pharmacists and paid OT. I wish I could understand why we aren't valued enough to be paid for overtime that results from understaffed department. It's depressing and anxiety provoking. Anyone have any insight?

currently tossing up between staying at a global company (who is in the process of some positive changes) with an amazing manager who supports my career and flexible working … however comes with the inherit issues that come with a long standing global company

compared with a role at a smaller mga, higher salary (around 30%) more , more visibility career wise and some great employee benefits , management seem to be supportive and low staff turnover

Hello all, i have. A question regarding compensation for a lateral move. I just received a job offer for an UA position from a competing cyber insurance carrier for $70,000 + bonuses. This job will be based out of San Francisco. I currently make $30/hour for the same role in Chicago, after OT it’s about $60,000. Do you think it would be wise to accept the offer? I am leaving retail pharmacy after 15 years. I am opening a 403b pharmacy for a FQHC. I don't believe that retail pharmacy will be able to sustain itself with patient costs skyrocketing. How many times do we see people getting free prescriptions via government coverage that drive better cars than we do?

I work in a state where abortion was previously banned and is now still pretty heavily restricted. Lately I've heard a lot of really negative and hurtful comments about patients who are picking up contraceptives, and about people who are pro-choice. I don't usually bring my political views to work, and now I feel like I honestly can't say anything without making work really uncomfortable for myself (I'm pro-choice). What should I do?
