Hello All, I have one question. I was a fresher and joined one organization as external employee with third party payroll. I worked as external payroll for 1 year then I became permanent employee of organization was working. When i was a fresher my salary was below tax slab so my external exployer did not generate any form 16 for me. When tried to switch my new organization wants me to submit form 16 as BGC process. This June I completed my 9 months at Career Level 12 and Sub Level 3 I.e, CL 12.3 at Accenture Operations. My Annual Talent Discussion and One-on-One with People Lead is complete as of last week.
I have 3 questions now :
1. When can I expect to move to 12.2 ?
2. What is the general hike I can expect ? And when it is reflected ?
3. When will be the variable pay will be paid out ?
Can anyone here help me with this performance cycle part ? I am really confused.

Anyone who unironically uses the word cuck in any form absolutely has misogyny issues. I’d find a higher paying job and a new boyfriend.
You should definitely quit your boyfriend who belittles you and what you’re trying to achieve. You can always work at Best Buy later if you want. As long as you’re able to support yourself, you should chase down the career you’re interested in.

i think your boyfriend’s heart is in the right place. he doesn’t want you to be abused and paid less than you’re worth. he should stop using the word “cuck” though...
however, $8/hour isn’t acceptable in any situation ever! that being said, you may very well need the experience and there’s nothing you can do to change the min. wage laws/your employers ethics right now. do what you gotta do for now, and let your boyfriend know you know it’s wrong and you deserve more but it’s all you can get right now and eventually you’ll be making a lot more because of this job.

Before we jump all over the boyfriend, if he isn't in the ad world, it is hard for those folks to understand why any of us would spend so many hours to make so little money. The worst arguments my husband and I ever had was when I first started working in advertising and had to sit around waiting for what he thought was no reason. He made a lot more than me, but worked less hours. Fast forward 15 years, I make a lot more money than him, work similar amount of hours.
As for OP rate of $8/hr, not sure how that's happening. Are you saying you are averaging 70 hrs a week, for 2 years! That is outrageous, even in the ad industry.

Are you saying your hourly rate is truly 8/hr, or your effective rate is 8/hr because you’re overburned and not qualifying for OT?
In both of those cases I would absolutely start interviewing at other agencies and ONLY look at places with benefits. 2 years of experience is plenty to jump!
Contract position monthly averages to $8/hr with 40 hrs of work. (Hence the no benefits)
Your boyfriend’s an ass if he’s just putting you down like, unless he means for it as a way to get you to look for something better. You should definitely keep looking though, $8/h is tough. Sometimes internships may also pay more than contract positions. Hang in there!!

Is your role in media or creative? if it’s in media, you should definitely look around at hopping companies — you can get a significant pay bump by moving agencies
