I’m having an issue with my amex plat card & curious if any one else has had the same. There is a $400 charge to my card for “Amex Fine Hotels and Resorts.” Nothing that I booked. I had previously booked two refundable trips that I had to cancel, but all that money was charged/refunded fine. I called customer service and they bounced me back and forth between card services and travel 4 times(!!). I’ve never seen such incompetence. They can’t figure out what it is & days later charge remains American Express

My visa expiry is June 2023 , whereas my Appointment to consulate is July 2022. I am going to renew my visa now but for my appointment I had given my current passport number and for appointment I need to carry the renewed passport(Which will have new Passport Number) , please help if this will be an issue?? Will I be asked to book a new appointment with renewed Visa and passport number ?? anyone faced similar situation??

My partner will be traveling often to London, once a month for an year starting September. He is getting his visa through work (10 years, multiple entry, 6 months max stay, cost some $1000).

I have applied for standard tourist visa in the past and they are usually short term. It could be max 6 months, but they see your itinerary and allocate you few months around the itinerary

Luggage delay claim question

I used Chase explorer to buy tickets for my vacation and luggages were delayed for a month. Per chase term I am entitled $100 a day for 3 days. But the claim agency chase used has been asking for airlines response, which has not came (2month+ now). I am concerned insurance will use this as an excuse to never compensate. Is there a good way to handle this situation?
