For any of you real estate investors, what tools or sources did you learn from when getting started. Can’t find a mentor currently so want to find some highly recommended books or videos. If focused on the tri-state area (NY, NJ, Long Island mainly) that would be even better. Hi everyone, not sure if I have any options but figured it doesn’t hurt to ask. I signed a lease in June for $2050 when I was under the impression it wouldn’t get lower than that. The same apartment is now down $1650 and has been dropping. this is super frustrating since it’s such a dramatic drop. It’s almost more cost effective to break the lease for $4k in order to save $4500 over 12 months - $500 in total savings + cheaper if I renew next year. Do I have any negotiation power?
