I’m looking into ultra wide monitors to use for home office. I thought it might be cleaner to do a dual screen instead of having two separate monitors. For this purpose, should I be looking at 32:9 ratio monitor, or is 21:9 ratio sufficient?

Joining Deloitte in 2weeks. What Deloitte send laptop, do they send extra monitor, keyboard and mouse? Or does it need to be purchased using $1000 productivity subsidy? And do we need to use Amex card to purchase and then reimburse?

1099 or w-2 ? I have been given the option though the company prefers w-2. It’s a day rate booking couple of months or more (no end date). I already have 1099 from similar company this year and am leaning towards 1099, but I don’t want to be difficult. I do take home office deduction and they are not supplying any equipment. Looking for a home office chair…I need something really ergonomic/comfortable but given the visibility of the office in the house the wife wants something stylish. She keeps calling all my ideas ‘gamer chairs’ even though they’re definitely not. Anyone have any chairs they really like that may be worth looking at? I feel like I’ve looked everywhere (Steelcase, Herman Miller, humanscale, Haworth, xchair, etc).

Anyone have a good office chair recommendation? Really not trying to spend more than $150 but willing to go to $200 if there is a really good recommendation.

Home office preference question. I am getting ready to redo the layout of my home office. One option I'm considering would have my desk facing a wall. I am wondering if anyone with this current setup has any feedback about it. I would face the wall so that I would have a better background for video conferences (am on about half the day) and also my cord situation would be cleaner.
