I’m looking to go back to Consulting at SM level. How much of my non-vested RSU can I expect to be covered in sign-on bonus? I have currently $50K that is being vested next year January 1st? Would any consulting firm match that using the sign-on bonus? Or am I being unrealistic?

Any advice on how to request a 20% raise? This is my first career out of college. I signed my offer letter knowing that I was being underpaid by 10%, as per the posted position salary. My 1-year appraisal is close and I would like to request 20% based on an increased workload; I would also like to make up for being underpaid my first year.

My dilemma: Many companies only pay up to a 4% raise. However, that will not cover much in this economy, and I would still be still underpaid.

So, I haven't received an offer yet but they have already run a background check and sent me both a conditional U5 approval and a FINRA info request. Can I assume that an offer will be soon to follow?
