I’m looking to leave Resource Management at the Big 4 level to transition to a much smaller organization with more manageable volume and remote opportunities. Can anyone help?

Hi fishbowl fam, I work as a customer service advisor but I just started a masters program in data science (career change) is it possible for me to get a job in this field to broaden my knowledge while still learning? If yes, what title of jobs should I be looking for and does anyone have any idea of organisations I should target?

My wife is in sales at Mercedes and she has been averaging $200k a year and growing YoY. She loves her job, however she works long days and barely gets time off. We plan on having kids within the next year or two, and it’s highly u likely that she’ll be able to keep her current gig. We want to find a career that allows her to work remote or that at least gives her a better work life balance so that she can see her kids grow up. Should she get certifications to give her a shot at adtech?Too late?

Has anyone went from saas to benefit consulting? How was that transition? Was it worth it? I hear in benefits you get a book with recurring revenue.

We had evaluations and normally we have annual raises. I think my salary is under market value at $68k (plus OT) in Los Angeles (5 years of experience). I was told I am one of the top employees in the firm. When I asked about a raise, I was told “when you think about it at your level 5k to 10k doesn’t really matter it’s the long term goal that matters”. What would be your response to that, to a partner who is making 500-600k a year?
