The recruiter said he will now have

He interviewed for a M role in

He does have a wide skill set and the
recruiter said it was all positive
feedback, just have to find out
where to put him (on the team he
interviewed for or another he is

Shoot a text and say “just wanted to check in and see if everything was okay. Are you online today?” - lead with compassion as you can never be sure what’s causing this, and then provide feedback once you have an understanding of why they are not being timely in responses.

Is it effecting your ability to do your job? If so, mention it to them and then if it doesn’t change, say something to their direct manager. If not, and youre just annoyed on principle, find something else to worry about..
as long as he’s doing the work in a timely fashion & delivering good quality work too, i dont see the problem here? i also purposely have my status turned off or set as always permanently bc i don’t like it when people are stalking me to that extent, but make sure to do the good work & meet deadlines. no one says a thing to me.
What does „timely“ mean in the first place? And is it crucial/business critical that he actually does respond in a „timely“ manner? Does he in general do the job he‘s been hired for up to the desired result?
Personally I also prefer people who respond in a „timely“ (for me a few hours, if not critical a few days even) manner, but generally the speed of answering does not correlate to the quality of work you get.
Given we are in account management, timely for me is within 4-5 hours max (unless it’s after hours). The emails I am referring to don’t require extensive work, just a reply with the answers.
