Since you just got promoted
Work another year and then switch for brand name unless you feel like your progression at T2 is better
End of the day brand or not
💰 Pays bills so stick with better growth
Why would you do this? That’s like saying I have a Prada bag but want to trade it in and pay more for a birkin. What difference does it make? Besides that from what I know of T2 is that the comp is good and isn’t as stressful as MBB. That of which you’ve already stated. Which leads me to believe your looking for name recognition more than comp and career projection. Therefore stop worrying about that. If you don’t have to go back to school and have a good chance at a good career ladder I wouldn’t leave tbh. Good wlb and money trumps “name branding” all day imo.

Guidehosue is a T3, maybe T4 firm.
T2 is S&, OW, Kearney, LEK and maybe EYP.
Just buy a Porsche if you’ve got something to prove
Curious to hear as well. How did you get promoted so quickly? Like what did you do in your job - given ure title, assuming u are in LEK?

I agree with PM1. Pretty similar to what I did and im happy I made the switch.
Boutique healthcare consulting firm in Chicago. But my pay about doubled moving to MBB so i suppose you’re in a much better boat in that sense
A yes/no is helpful. But reasoning is also appreciated
What’s your end goal?
No
How the eff did you get to post mba in 1 year out of undergrad? Are you a genius/prodigy?
Definitely not a genius or prodigy. I would say mainly luck of being on high profile projects and having a team that let me grow quickly. I think my personality also matches the job well which helps

Get an interview, then get an offer, and then consider it.

Not at the BA level
Rising Star
No, because you'd start back at entry level at any MBB
Rising Star
No
Why so
Go now if you can manage it - worst case scenario you take a 1Y cut today and, in 2023, end up in the same position you would if you lateraled a year from now except with an extra year of MBB experience under your belt
It depends on a lot of things and what you’re optimizing for in life. I made the switch. DM me if you’d like
1 y and promote to post-mba? I would stick with the firm because of credibility
