For those who were diagnosed as an adult can you provide some insight into how you were able to obtain a diagnosis. I went to my primary care dr who referred me to another dr who specialized in mental health. He asked me about 5 questions before telling me I should see a neuropsychologist for an official assessment. The referral he gave me is super pricey and apparently isn’t covered by insurance. Is that normal?

Would love to hear thoughts on best approach of you are a senior associate at V10 firm. Do you just become counsel until they tell you that partnership is not in the cards or do you try to hop to the first partnership (equity, or at least NEP with clear progression to equity if you bring in some business) opportunity at a say V50 firm. I have been in management for the past 8 years and part of large corporations. I just recently joined a small organization that I have wanted to be a part of for the past 2 years, accepted the role of general manager. This organization knew that I don’t have general manager experience, no payroll experience, no experience setting prices, no purchasing experience and today, 6 days after starting, I have been asked to step down due to not being confident that I will be ready in 3 weeks…

What is your job title? As it right now I’m managing a team of product owners and I’m unofficially being called “Chief Product Owner.” I’m in the process of working with a coach to get my resume updated so I can begin applying for external roles. But I don’t even know what job titles to target.
