I have 6 YOE in. Net+Angular and got an offer from Legato Health Technologies with 20 LPA Fixed, i joined Infor just 11 months ago with 12LPA Fixed and i will get the hike in August. If i resign now i will not get hike and i am a critical resource in the project, i guess Infor might try to retain me by matching offer. What should i do? Should i resign ASAP and not negotiate with Infor . I have all these doubts because Infor is a product based company.
Yay or nay? Can't make up my mind 🤯

This is what burnout sounded like for me in the beginning. The more pressure I put on myself to tighten up the worse it seemed to get. The best thing that actually helped is having a real mindfulness practice — and being proactive about it. Something about being proactive and consistent with mindfulness whether it be meditation, journaling, etc helps you better deal with stress when it comes (as opposed to my previous method of doing a 5 min meditation when I was about to cry or scream). Becoming more intentional and proactive about meditation helped me a lot and I was able to perform much better with a calmer and clear mind.
Thank you! I will try that! I need to get out more. Much appreciated!
Hey, ADHD Coach with ADHD here. Don't be hard on yourself. That's actually very common amongst both neurotypical and nuerodiverse individuals, especially after 2020. What exactly are you struggling with in terms of missing the details? You need to spot the trigger that causes the reaction. Sounds like something has shifted in your personal or work life and it's affecting your concentration. Anything new been on your mind? (good or bad). Even being excited about something can impact you. Also a lot of people dont realize that not all tasks are meant to be treated equally. So if you're taking on too much work and giving them equal importance, that may strain you. Feel free to ask any questions you like. I love helping however I can -Nic
Thank you so much!! I really appreciate it. I’m struggling with paying attention to details, like things that happen before that I should know, remembering to double check everything, just thinking about the big picture and like I be doing XYNZ before uploading a release etc. (things that I’m usually on top of).
I think what happened was I had my review, and although I was given a good performance review, I wasn’t promoted, and was told what I need to work on, and I am working on it, but still that got me down. Next we had a change in teams as people left and new people came in, and my new boss seems to be very nitpicky but I’m trying to use it as a learning experience I started taking some writing classes on the weekends. (I’ve actually worked with this new manager in a previous job, and we got along really well and she liked my work so not sure why the change now). Also, my pharmacy stopped carrying my name brand medication, and I had to switch to a generic form which did not work for me and made me feel sick as well. I was able to get back on the namebrand medication after two weeks of calling, pharmacies and fighting with my insurance (further adding to everything else). just feel like since my review performance has gone downhill and I’m really upset and nervous. I honestly love my job I love my company, and I’m scared about being fired and I am most of all, really frustrated, and annoyed with myself that this is happening, because I used to be doing really well. I’m doubting myself, which I think is making a self-fulfilling prophecy. I don’t know how to pull myself out of the rut, but I really need to.
No advice for you but i just wanted to say that you are not alone. I've had bad performance review after another and at this point I'm at a complete loss. I'm going to job hop into the next couple of roles in the hopes that I find something that doesn't challenge my executive functioning too much. But boy am I mentally EXHAUSTED 😩
It's hard to find a good one MoPO1. The ones I've been to could not offer any practical help as they didn't seem to fundamentally understand ADHD daily struggles (i.e. have you thought about keeping a planner?). Not giving up the fight though.
ADHD Burnout is a major thing many NDs overlook. When our work no longer provides dopamine for the tasks we are doing, our attention and interest starts falling. Like many things, work tasks can start blending into the day to day and fall off of your radar. I suggest two things from my personal experience.
1. Find ways to take a break from the demands and expectations you are placing on yourself for work. It’s okay to step back and recharge. Especially if you want to avoid total burnout.
2. Add in some elements of the different activities you like to do to recharge and balance yourself throughout the day. For me it’s meditation, mindfulness activities with music, or working on a passion project. What is important is that it brings value and joy into your life.
I’m in similar career path and have experienced burn out. What are you currently taking and doing to combat this and for better focus?
You need to be back in the realm of collaboration. Isolation cripples us on all levels. The process of getting up, prepping mind and body to be present professionally is psychologically and emotionally stimulating (dopamine/serotonin). Anyone can be a data monkey slob behind a keyboard all day, but does it inspire creative mojo?
WFH is difficult in itself. You have to be self motivated and can get distracted easily. I say take a 15 min break every hour and reset your brain. You aren’t a robot do what you can do and always just double check before you hit that send button. Maybe you’re a person who’s more productive in office, maybe ask for a hybrid flex schedule as well. Give yourself weekly goals and task tracker
Good luck!
Thank you!! Sadly we are all remote. I’d love a hybrid schedule tbh. I also don’t have an office since I live in a studio apartment, so it’s hard to have that work environment. I’m going to try and go for walks and stuff
This is me as well.
I too over-think everything except procrastinating. I wish I would think more about that so I wouldn’t put myself in a pressure situation that doesn’t need to be. As a result of the pandemic I lost my sense of who I am and became this person I don’t even recognize. This amps up the self criticism as I know I can do better and should be. I’ve been at my job a long time so my coworkers know that I used to be able to do stuff by lunch that now takes all day. Plus my meds are not working consistently and the brain fog and …
You are not alone.
Sounds like potential burnout
I feel like I wrote this post. I’m lost. Have lost confidence on all fronts. I find myself thinking I can’t do anything right at this point. I feel like my reputation has suffered too.
I feel this so hard. Sending good vibes
I found out about nootropics, and it has genuinely helped me so much; I use https://takethesis.com/ and https://www.trubrain.com/ (I earn nothing by posting these; I prefer thesis but use trubrain as supplemental, and they have a sleep version as well as other supplements. It helps with the depleted dopamine and norepinephrine that we sometimes lack, but without taking a pharmaceutical, which I LOVE! It is all plant/nature based.) Learning more about adhd is sooo beneficial: https://www.additudemag.com/; as well as: https://youtube.com/@DrTraceyMarks?si=ozv5V4u1IWkLID9X (She is a Psychologist that has truly helped teach me so much.) I LOVE this site and was my launching pad.) Try changing scenery every other day or hourly as needed by switching rooms, etc. I also discovered the pomodoro technique: https://todoist.com/productivity-methods/pomodoro-technique; I also use this free pomodoro timer which has beautiful backgrounds and is connected to Spotify: https://studywithme.io/aesthetic-pomodoro-timer/. I also use this music from YouTube because it really helps to focus: https://youtube.com/@iammusicandimagination?si=iQdsYzETNvRHMW0j (she has music called ADHD Relief Music, and it is soooo effective.) And then, finding supportive people that you can turn to; I use this website to work alongside people for accountability (it’s free): https://www.focusmate.com/. This is everything I’ve learned and it has helped TREMENDOUSLY! Be at peace, there is hope for you too!
So, I did what everyone starting out does: take their quiz, and then they recommend the 4 four blends, and follow up with you by calling personally before you start. You decide which order you want to try, and then pick the day you want to start. I have found that starting on Sunday is most optimal bc it gives your brain a day to get used to it before starting work on Monday. Then you take the same blend for 6 straight days from the day you start, and rest on the 7th day. Then select the next one you want to try, rinse lather repeat. Then on the second month, you can swap two blends and try the other remaining two to compare all six blends. On the third month, THATS when you can really hone in on your optimal set. Apparently every person responds differently so my answer might not directly apply to you. But my two favorites have been Clarity as number One, and Creativity as number Two, with Energy in the middle and Logic/Confidence being on the least effective side. I am finishing up Confidence this week and then trying Motivation next week. They encourage you to pay attention to how it makes you feel and write notes for comparison. I also say that for females, the hormone cycle really plays a part, as well as sleep. So I think that this will continue to be a trial basis over many months to really hone in on the best ones. That’s why I really love Trubrain as a supplement, like for this week with the Confidence blend being less effective. Reach out, I’m happy to help. And again, I share to one beggar where to find bread without getting anything in return.
Lean on your team, be proactive and tell your boss. Sometimes just talking about it can help alleviate some of the pressure.
If you let your team in the loop they’ll be there to double check your work, and you won’t have to worry about your boss being bothered.
This clearly isn’t normal behavior, so just set up extra precautions and cut yourself some slack.
It’ll pass! You got this
Yes be careful . I wish I could agree with previous advise However in my experience and especially in this economic climate, the last thing you need is to expose yourself to critical eyes. Do not let them sniff blood in the water unless. Your subs may see it as an opportunity to challenge you and your boss may have their own stress to focus on.
I am feeling the same way. I think I have reached my limit with WFH and the level of isolation I live in. I am trying to pull myself out of it but man I just have no drive right now. My sleep schedule has been messed up for almost 2 years and I can’t seem to get fixed. My almost feel like I’m in an isolated cell. I WFH well before the pandemic and loved it but now that the kids are growing up and no one is home I am just so isolated. Really struggling.
I feel the same. It’s really hard and I’m not sure what to do
I find myself in your exact same shoes. I hope u figure it out, idk how to get out of it myself
Substances aren’t the panacea if there was a prior effective work ethic.
I was a top performer before WFM. Now I barely meet expectations probably. It’s extremely difficult.
When I go to the office every other week I can get so much more done in half a day than I do working from home all week. For people like us I think the office forces you to keep distractions away and pay more attention. I’m grateful for my office days because I’d be in so much trouble without them!
Try going to the library or coffee shop.
I'm not sure if you're on social media..have you heard of Shilajit? I recently found out on TikTok that it helps with your mental and stress level and even more! I continued to look it up on Google, YouTube and Instagram to do more research and decided to order mine from a reliable website. I recommend that you follow Shariya Wise on TikTok.
