Hello Fishes, I have cleared both Technical and Manager rounds in Infosys. I have total experience of 3 years and relevant experience of 2.9 years in Java Full stack development. Currently holding an offer of 13LPA and ctc is 7.8 LPA.

It qualifies you for some positions, and if you have an interest in broader project management or program management concepts, it’s not wasteful to get a PMP certification. But it’s not anything you can’t learn OJT.
Bottom line: worth it only if 100% company paid.
Rising Star
Doesn’t really matter in consulting even on implementation projects. Some industries might care like government IT
Get SAFe instead
Certifications are like pocket knives - only show them when needed. PMP is a great certification and is well regarded in all industries. Go get it!!
The projects that I was on we had no idea what methodology or framework the leadership tried to run. Everyday they had some new ideas. It was very frustrating.
PMP or SAFe helps when the client and our team agree on how they want to execute the projects.
There’s no harm in getting both certifications. To prioritize, get SAFe first.
