I'm seeking advice for the application process with Marriott. What should I expect from the assessment piece? Any advice or tips about the whole process is appreciated!

Hi there! It’s been a while since I’ve been with Marriott, but I believe the assessment helps make sure your skills match up with the role- nothing really to study for but just use your best judgement.
If you make it to an interview- they use the STAR format so be prepared with your answers!

like

To explain the STAR format:

Situation: what was the situation you were in
Task: what was the task you were asked to perform
Action: what action did you take to complete the task
Result: what was/were the results of your action

I am giving my best in work but still escalations are raised against me by client.
My husband is also in tcs he is moving to onsite in Jan and my travel is also planned mid next year.
I am giving 12hour daily in my job to adjust in new profile. And affecting my health now.
Shall I quit the job and move with my husband with on dependant visa? Or i shall continue to get pressurized and wait for my onsite?
Plz suggest.

Is it misleading to just look at Total Compensation from a $ dollar value/ Total Compensation seems to be much more subjective than base salary in terms of its value. Some factors might be:

RSUs granted on dollar value or by # of shares & stock price trends
Vesting schedule
strike price on ISOs & delta between strike price and real market value

For instance, most of value in Amazon's comp seems to be granted in years 3 & 4, but it's well known that most people last only 2 years max there.

Does it make any difference to make the change effective the first week of 2023 payroll, or to make a change in payroll providers mid year? I’m thinking it’s best to start fresh at the beginning of the year and not worry about two payroll companies for reporting. What are other things to consider?

I have been on a planned personal sabbatical this year pursuing personal interests. Now I’m ready to go back to work. In addition to having relevant experience and accomplishments handy, I would appreciate any pointers for having a good interview at this level.

In this field, when choosing a masters degree program is it more beneficial to get a degree in Human Resources to further my knowledge in HR (my undergraduate degree is in Economics) , an MBA, or Data Science Degree due to the fact that HR is becoming more data driven as well as get a PHR / SHRM-CP certification?

I have looked into getting SHRM certification. But should I go back to school and get my masters in Hr?
