Hi Fishes, Pls help,
YOE: 13 yrs
Cctc: 13 lpa
Have cleared HCL interview. Initially they offered 23 lpa (via proposed offer letter), but i requested to reconsider it for 25 lpa.
After 5 days, they sent final offer letter of 19 lpa (stating they can offer max 50% as per L4 approval).
Queries:
1. Is this normal or rare case, reducing the offer amount from what quoted initially?
2. Should I accept or negotiate?
I don't have any other offer as of now.

Companies with unlimited PTO are usually not transparent
Uh I'm not. Get your unlimited pto away from me.
Unlimited PTO is a scam. Youve been swindled.
lol… would never join a company that has “unlimited” pto
Unlimited PTO really only benefits the company. It’s been found that people still only take about 15-25 days of PTO a year. If you find a company that offers 4-5 weeks of PTO or more, It’s essentially the same as getting unlimited. Also, with unlimited, you miss the pay out if you leave. So I’d caution against it being a dealbreaker for employment. Also, you can negotiate higher PTO if a company only offer 10-15 days.
Unlimited PTO is a scam…signed all of EY employees except leadership
So I can take 6 months off and still get paid? I’m in! Lmao

Presume this is a troll-post.
*slow clap*
What an odd choice - literally everyone else does not look for this
lol, this benefit looks good on paper but research suggests unlimited PTO is worse..
A little entitled?
LOL. That’s a very niche benefit it’s not prevalent and it’s doubtful it will become so.
