Yes do what’s best for you. The immigration firm wouldn’t hesitate to let you go if their business needs changed.
I did this a couple weeks ago after being unemployed for a few months. Was at a firm for 4 days and left. Not great but I have to take care of myself.
Make sure you take really good notes and keep documents really organized, so that you can easily hand off your clients when you leave. You’ll burn some bridges and stress your clients out, but it happens and you should do your best to mitigate the disruption for the immigration firm and clients!

Yeshiva I'm not taking a position on the matter. But OP wanted to know if it was okay and I was pointing out things to consider. That's all. Some people might feel bad about doing it. I'm not saying OP should feel bad about it.

If you are an at will employee then they can let you go at any time and you can leave at any time. Do what is best for you and your family.
If you have a contract then maybe confer with counsel.
