A creative team I started working with recently has decided to ignore my every comment. They take feedback from anyone else but me, and whenever I push them to make said changes, they just pick fights and make snarky comments. Anyone have any idea why this might be?

Am I particularly uptight, or is writing meant to be done alone, without a partner talking to you? With past partners, we chat through script notes and then I go off to execute. Current partner likes to sit and chat as I write. To me, writing is crafting a conversation. So I can’t talk to you and simultaneously talk to this audience. Of course I can just say “I’m gonna go write.” But since we’re both CD level, I’m like…is this his first rodeo? Maybe other writers are different though.

So I have family situation I've been dealing with and yesterday at a company function outside the office, my supervisor brought it up in front of a bunch of people. Had interviews at three different places recently, all of which seemed to go well. Recruiters/HR people told me they’d be in touch with next steps end of last week or early this week. Haven’t heard from any of the three and none of them have responded to follow-up emails 🙃

Flew from London to the US for a two day interview marathon. Had one call with HR two weeks later where I was told they were gathering feedback and would get back to me asap. Never heard back. (contd)

Ghosting after on-site interviews is despicable. Recruiting has been a part of my job for years in addition to resourcing & project management, and I would always manage to reply emails.
