Gave interview in TCS, it went pretty well. At the end, the tech interviewer asked my expected ctc. After mentioning as 27lpa, he asked if can be negotiated, told yes.
After that didn't get any feedback, its been around 5days.
Is 27lpa too much fr tcs? 🤔

Please don’t get excited. Take it like a school exam. Prepare very well for that panel. They are usually exhausting and they take between 2hours - 6 hours depending on the company. Different people will likely ask you a lot of questions and some of them tend to be ruthless.
Practice until you are ready to drop. Then practice one more time.

Congrats! I would strongly recommend practicing presenting it either by recording yourself and reviewing it or presenting to another person -- one who could give you feedback and advice. Get ready to answer questions based on your presentation - see if you can get someone to ask you questions based on what you present to see what "holes" you may have. Also, be mindful of following EXACTLY (as best you can) the parameters of the presentation - meaning, if they asked for no more than 3 solutions based on the case study, be sure to stick to that.
Also, you can practice with AI and give your "speech" to it and ask for feedback. Lots of great resources to use!
Best of luck - you got this!
In terms of AI - Gemini is coming along in favor as well as a tool to use for interview prep. You can literally prompt it to ask you interview questions then respond to it with your answers and ask for feedback.
Also, Indeed.com does have a lot of great resources - https://www.indeed.com/career-advice/interviewing
I would also really STRONGLY recommend taking time to jot down your accomplishments and strong examples for some commonly asked interview questions. Either keep them on a sheet of paper near you or on an additional screen during the interview. That way you can refer back to them in a pinch if needed.
This accomplishes a couple things. It (hopefully) gives you confidence! Its nice to look back at all you have succeeded in and handled. The second, is it can be a helpful exercise to help you look at these accomplishments from the angle of the interviewer - how can these relate to the role you are applying for? How can some of the examples of difficulties and issues you have faced and overcome apply to this new role?
I also look up things like "Commonly asked interview questions" - tie EVERYTHING back to an example (if you can!) Don't just give a top level answer, but provide an example that illustrates your answer. Also, try and analyze what the recruiter is looking for from asking you a question to help you better answer it and give them what you are looking for.
Last thing - at the end of your interview / presentation, if they ask you if you have any questions, of course, ask if you would like BUT it can also be a great time to quickly recap anything you wanted to mention additionally to them for them to remember you by. (Think in terms of "What sets you apart from other candidates?" - you are selling yourself!)
Good luck!
Be ready for questions, and remember that some questions are designed to see how you react when you don't know something, or how you handle people pushing back. Know your audience, who you are presenting to- if you dont know- ASK. you don't have to know their names per se, but know what kind of roles you are presenting to (engineers? Directors? VPs)
Good to see a positive post. Good luck !
