In the NYC area, recruited out of college for an industry specialist consulting firm (not MBB or strategy) 1 YOE. Realizing I do not enjoy the qualitative side of consulting and want to develop more technical and quantitative skills. Do I have a hope in hell of getting a banking job if I grind and apply to as many as I can here? Or should I just try and lateral to a different consulting firm that will provide more technical experience.

Looking to start studying for the CPA is it worth to try to get into a Big 4 before passing? I've heard they will pay for it and give a bonus for passing.

I have been looking at the curriculums for Harvard Business School's Master of Business Administration and Harvard Extension School's Master's in Management. They both have the same requirements, generally speaking, including a field immersion course that serves as a capstone in the Master's in Management, which is fairly new. If I am not able to gain admission to Harvard Business School, but wanted a similar educational experience to become a consultant, should I attend Harvard Extension?

I am a consultant working in one of the big 4. I have got a call from DE Shaw HR for a role in their Project Finance and Investment Research team focusing on Energy sector? Being an MBA in Finance graduate, I am in a dilemna on which path might be better I the long run -consulting (where I am more of a generalist, taking up random asks from clients and onshore stakeholders) or Project Finance & M&A where role might be more specific.

I'm a brand new attorney (passed the Feb 2021 bar) who started an in-house counsel position a few months ago (where my focus is negotiating agreements for the sale of my company's software). I was a contracts manager on an in-house team for 4 years prior, which is why I was able to go straight in-house. I'm entirely skipping out on firm life, which feels both good and bad. My 4-year old goes berserk almost every day at some point relating to me having to work.
