In the role of an Insurance Account Manager/CSR, how should responsibilities be clearly divided between the producer and the CSR? Traditionally, it’s understood that the producer is responsible for generating new business and gathering all necessary client information, while the CSR handles data entry, servicing, and being the secondary contact for endorsements, policy changes, and renewals. However, wht happens when a producer likes to stay heavily involved in the CSR duties or does it themselve

What happens? The producer fails miserably and ends up being a CSR.

Why would a producer do anything beyond the ABCs (always be closing)? Only a control freak producer that doesn't trust their service team would want to service their own accounts 🤷🏼‍♀️ The goal is to build a book and sell it so you can retire - how can you do that as a keyboard warrior?

Not to mention the skill sets are vastly different for each role. Let the person that's good at a thing do the thing.

How do agencies navigate this overlap without stepping on toes or creating confusion? Are there best practices for setting boundaries while still supporting collaboration?

Your producer needs to understand time=money. Their losing money and if that doesn’t motivate they should be a car not producer

My fiancé will NOT stop talking about her ex. After I found out they were texting arguing she justified it by saying it was about the dogs and not them. Even though Her social media is full of his pics. She still sends him $50 a month for dog food, still goes to work right by his place and suspiciously needs keys. I try to bring it up and I get dismantled for being too mean and making “false accusations.” How much more obvious can it be?

Hi everyone, I got terminated from my job a month ago and trying to find a position in management. I recently got approved for UI benefits so that’s helping. I have about 3 solid years of corporate experience. I’m a single 30 year old male looking to get back into the workforce remotely or onsite. I was passed up for a couple of manager positions and seeeing no luck. I’m in Massachusetts and the rising living costs are not helping. Just reaching out to see if there any leads.

Considering moving to Denver to be closer to nature and family. Husband and I can easily transfer jobs. No kids yet but ideally soon.

We live in Chicago (Lincoln park) and love it - the walkability, bar and restaurant scene, shopping, cleanliness, etc. - and are trying to find similar neighborhoods in the Denver area. I’d like something bougie (not afraid to admit it), safe, with single family homes and that’s not too hipster/crunchy/west coast grunge. Any neighborhood recommendations?

Should I specialize in Blockchain or AI? I’m a freshman in a CS degree and I can’t decide. My main argument to choose blockchain is the easy entry with little experience and high salary, I plan on growing my skills during the bear market and get a job once the market recovers. Regarding AI, I find this field fascinating but I feel like it requires a lot of experience, degrees and diplomas.

In my organization, most with my role are commission based. I make a set salary due to the firm I work for as an account manager/ coordinator for clients… I coordinate their enrollments, working with each groups HR department as to benefits and payroll purposes, and schedule our benefit counselors accordingly. I am finding that in most cases where I compare the voluntary benefits industry, I might be underpaid. What is an appropriate base salary for a position in which commission is replaced?

On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the most, how pissed would you be if you were a supervisor and you had a new direct report on your team with a higher salary than you? The years of experience are the same, but you have 3 designations (they have 0), you have 3 licenses (they have just 2), they have little to no experience with technical complex claims (you have hundreds), and you have 3 years in management (they have 0).

How does underwriting compare to PIP litigation in terms of flex time (ability to stop/start work throughout day, work at 2 am if needed, etc)

For example.. in PIP Litigation I can review my suits at 2 am if needed (as a result of having a rough day or other emergency) and still be in compliance

Does Underwriting carry any time sensitive tasks?
