Three usually

1. Recruiter
2. Your possible future team
3. Higher ups/ owners if it’s a small company

I went through 5 recently, over 8 weeks. Didn’t get it.

like

Typically 3 - one with HR/Hiring (normally on the phone), one with CD/Team leads (in person) and then one with some of the team (in person, hopefully on the same day if they can swing it).

However, I've done as many as 8 and then didn't get hired 🙄..

like

2-4 for Director or lower. It can get up there for VP+.

like

3-4 including the first 15m screening with HR

like

It’s ranged anywhere from 4-7

I recently had 5, last being a presentation.

Currently in bizops and former consultant, and while the work is fine I’ve realized that bizops feels similar to consulting and in the long term I’m looking for a role that has more ownership and ideally more analytical. Does anyone have any advice/anecdotes on other roles that may be suitable, and what it takes to get there? Thank you!

Question about remote job negotiations

I'm currently interviewing for a remote role for a company based in NY.

The thing is I'm based in a different city (southern U.S.)

My question is:

When it comes time to talk compensation, should I base the market rate for the role on my city of residence or NY?

Would it make sense to ask them directly how they determine comp for NY-bases vs. other city-based employees?

Anyone have experience with this?

Had a salary discussion with headhunter, who really lowballed me and told that the employer is not going to pay more than X.
The final interview is scheduled for tomorrow should I be expecting any salary negotiation during the final interview or after or is the number that I informally agreed to with a headhunter is set in stone?
How bad is it if I refuse to accept the offer? Will I be banned from working with that headhunting firm?

I am a registered sales assistant which means I have my series 7. I also have the 63 and my Life & Health license. I was a financial advisor but the role is commission only so I decided to take a role as an assistant for some time to learn etc. I really like my role, but I only make 32k a year and after taxes I only take home about 25k. I have a gut feeling that I’m not being paid market value but it’s tough to find comparable salaries. Do you think $15.38/hr is a fair wage in this case?

Can anyone help me with a referral in HPE(Hewlett Packard Enterprise). Please comment on this post if you're willing to refer.
