Hi all - I am looking to move into the world of brand strategy consulting (KPMG has customer consulting division but brand and marketing aren't that strong. Also KPMG UK is the only one of big 4 that has not bought an agency!!). Wanted to hear some advice on the options: go to a boutique (like Lippincott, Prophet) or brand agency? The salary cut for agency is huge though. Are there other options?

I have an offer to join a startup as an APM. The only downside is that the engineering team is located offshore in India. I’m concerned about the resulting impact because of 1) the potential late night calls 2) the learning opportunities missed by not working with a US engineering team (communication tactics, translatable skills) 3) potential exit opps into FAANG pm roles due to not having experience with an onshore eng team. The methodologies and processes are quite similar between physical and digital design so i feel i should not start from a junior position, however my portfolio contains only physical. Any advice for someone looking to transition from Project Management?

So I recently interviewed for an associate PM role with my current company. I’ve been a store manager with them for 11 years. During the interviews, I felt like things were growing great and the feedback I got at the end was great. You’d think given my time knowing the product/ company for so long, that I’d be a great fit but I got rejected and haven’t gotten feedback probably will get ghosted. Should I shoot my shot and advocate for myself with the hiring manager either way?
