Correct. I asked the doctor to only inject half of the dose.
Anti vax suggests they are against all vaccines.
However, lots of folks are not ready to get this one, but are supportive of vaccines in general and have received all the standard ones.
Just because they are not yet comfortable with this one, doesn’t mean they are “anti vax”.

Hundreds of millions of people have been vaccinated for over 6 months now from the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines. We've yet to see any proven side effects, but we've seen statistically that they have been effective. Pfizer is getting full FDA approval on Monday and Moderna will surely be following shortly thereafter. What more do you want?
Interesting research shows you are actually 100 times more likely to get myocarditis with Covid than with the vaccine. Fascinating!
A study of college athletes showed 0.7% of athletes who got Covid ended up with myocarditis. The highest number I can find for the vaccine is 0.0076% for the vaccine.

EM2, there is “I’m willing but scared & still doing my research” & before everyone starts saying but COVID is risky too, I’ve had COVID twice & survived with little to no complications. But each time I read about the VAERS of the vaccine, it says the probability is higher for adults below 30. And since both unvaccinated & vaccinated can spread it, I am really struggling to find pros for why I should take it.

OP you are pro vax if you took the vaccine. Literally nobody is talking about forced vaccinations. We are talking about requiring vaccinations as a condition for access to places where other people are like restaurants, stadiums, offices, etc. I fail to see why that public safety mindset is a problem, but even if you don't agree with those policies, you still approve of the shot itself, so you're still pro vax
I think OP is raising the point that there is also a hesitant category and a freedom category. Hesitant where you generally believe in science but skeptical of the new vaccines because they lack longer term data on health implications. Freedom where you don't like been directed towards an action without feeling you've arrived at that conclusion first.
There's likely another category of immunized where you survived an infection and feel you are sufficiently immunized despite not having been vaccinated.
OP, it's not a big deal. This isn't gender debates. People aren't going to change. We're all going to catch COVID at some point because we/nation cannot recognize what it takes to solve a disease that requires a collective solution. In short, we're all f'ed.

There are 3 types of people in the world now:
Provids - take the vaccine, wear a mask, all your questions are answered so shut up and do as your told. Covid will kill us all
Novids - reject anything the government or media says. If you get the vaxxx your an idiot, communist takeover, this is what the Nazis did etc.
Midvid - get the vax, don’t I don’t care. Wear the mask or dont. I don’t care.
We need more Midvids. And PS - there is nothing wrong with taking your personal health more seriously. The data is out, this is a pandemic of the overweight more than the unvaccinated. Before people get mad, I am vaccinated

I understand the issue with the speed of the development or the concern with who has developed it. I really do. Your choice not to get the vaxx will impact far more people than yourself.
Choices have consequences.
If you’re abstaining from the shot, that’s fine. But you should also be barred from entering into any public place until you are vaxxed. If you catch covid, to the parking lot with you while medical facilities treat people who took this disease seriously or have a medical emergency not of their own making.
I agree with the parking lot part. I'm absolutely in favor of hospitals denying beds to people eligible for but declining the vaccination. We need hospitals to be available for real emergencies and even necessary-but-not-life-threatening care.

Natural immunity doesn't exist anymore, millions of people haven't recovered from covid without hospitalization, millions weren't asymptomatic and didn't even know they had covid, none of this happened, keep watching our 'safe and effective' propaganda and get your Vax
