Hi guys :) Glad to join fishbowl and this community. Guys I have an offer of 14.41 ctc from a big 4 (11 is fixed).
Technology-Microsoft Dynamics 365(I am a functional consultant in SCM and HR; Relevant exp: 3 yrs & Total exp: 4 yrs).
My interviews in IBM are done and I am waiting for the salary discussion with HR.
What is the likely offer that I am going to get? Any idea? (My expectation is 16.5 lpa ctc). I will adjust my expectations as per replies here.
Any response is highly appreciated :)

A no WFH policy would be the dealbreaker for me, not the dogs 😂
I think the most logical solution is just to kidnap the dogs one by one and sell them off to strangers who don’t work in your office
Doable. Tell them right away (politely) and they will arrange something for you. No worries.
Ask for an office because of your condition. You’ll really stick it to the dog owners.
You probably should ask an allergist to know if it’s safe or if there’s anything you can do or take to make it bearable
Ya, they explicitly have a “no WFH” policy
Or bring some hair clippers and shave all the dogs
Request to work from home and use this as an opportunity to make yourself a nice home office and save $ on commuting. You can also take advantage of certain tax benefits by claiming your space as a home office.
Lol deal breaker. You might get immune to the allergy meds and you'll suffer. You should ask about their work from home policy.
It's ridiculously old fashioned to have a no WFH policy. It shows 1. You don't trust your employees and 2. Ignores the fact that so many people actually are more efficient out of the office
Agree with SR1😂
If you tell them about your allergies, they will not hire you. They don't need any liability
My gut is they want their head of planning at the office from time to time.
I had a second interview, I went in and got sick, found out more about the dogs (the dogs are everywhere), and turned their offer down. Would have been, roughly, a $40k bump. Is this the lamest reason for not taking a good offer? Yes, yes it is.
Ugh
Dealbreaker. I've never been at a dog-friendly agency where dog owners actually follow the rules intended to help people with allergies
How allergic are you? Knowing people, I'd bet no one with a dog will accommodate you. Seems like a potential hassle
SR3 arent you a little bundle of positivity? I don't cut corners just because I consider flexibility in the workplace a priority. Here we go with the no lifers who think everyone should live at the office and put work before everything else. 🙄
@OP not lame in my book. You deserve a healthy work environment. Wishing you the best as you proceed. Congrats on the offer too, btw!
How good is your allegist?
