Does anyone have experience interviewing with Deloitte Internal Services? I had my final interview a week and a half ago, and received positive feedback throughout. The hiring manager had positive things to say and mentioned they hoped to make a decision by the end of last week. It’s now Friday the week after. The role still shows as “Interviews in Process.” We did discuss potential start dates, but no salary. Any experience with receiving offers for an internal services role? Is this common?

Card. I write immediately post interview while I'm still in the building and ask the receptionist to drop for me.
Email. Gets there quicker.
Unless you do what SP1 suggests, send an email. Odds are the hiring manager will make a decision before regular mail gets there.
Email a few hours later, put a card in the mail (usually one for every person there I met with) on the way home. Major key is to use a mailbox closest to wherever the office is so it gets there next day
Always, always a hand-written card, local or not. It helps you stand out as human being, not a candidate. Plus the dopamine squirt our brains get from opening an envelope that is not a bill links you with good feelings.
Email immediately after, then send a card.
Both! Nothing beats hand-written, but something right after is always a good way to emphasize your interest in the position.
Email. This way they can respond with next steps! Or you can follow up a week later if necessary. Or you can forward it to someone. We ain't in the Mad Men era anymore.
Email only. I don't want to seem desperate.
