One of the reasons I want to transition from industry to consulting (tier 1) is that I get frustrated when I have to collaborate with mediocre people. My assumption is that Tier 1 consulting firms hire really sharp people and if I can get in, I’ll be collaborating with folks on top of their game (not expecting much from clients). Should I tell them how much im making now, which is admittantly at the very top of the SC band, or counter with a range that’s more than I’m making? Are tax returns delayed this year? Filed electronically in early feb and both state a federal were accepted…have yet to hear back. When I check the “where’s my refund” IRS tool it just says “your return may be delayed”
