What do you mean? Teaching a dev how to use a new language is not even staff aug, it's an online course. Helping transition responsibility from your dev team to theirs by getting them up to speed on your architecture etc it engagement closure activities so not staff aug
Yes, our company is sadly staff augmentation and people get tired of that and leave. There are a lot of related technical skills that you can acquire for training development but some projects are still stuck in the MS Power Point and MS Word approach to do training which is incredibly obsolete and boring. Other companies and industry are already using different e-learning tools, and even want training developers to have some coding (HTML, JavaScript, CSS) knowledge and wouldn't even look at someone that only knows how to paste screenshots and some text in a Word doc and call it a job aid 🙄
