Is anyone concerned about layoffs in the industry given current events?

Now I got an offer of 16lpa in CTS for Automation Testing role. But once I started talking to friends i got to know that one of my frnd has recently been fired from CTS last year due t unavailability of project. Hi, received an offer from another Big4 in Amsterdam (currently working in Eastern Europe), but relocating, I’m concerned about potential layoffs in the coming period being the last to join the team.
