People complain pay might not grow quite as fast here, but I sleep really well that in this economic climate we’ll make different decisions to the other players based on a large body of evidence. I’d rather gladly forgo bonus for a year so no colleague gets laid off and because I know if we manage no layoffs through another shock we’ll dominate just like 2020 let us grow like crazy on the backend.

However, working through interviews in the private sector with a fortune 100 materials science company for a program manager position where the hiring manager plans to groom that person to replace her as director for program management for the entire division. Will be tough to choose if I make it to that point.
